Rules & Notes
- You must complete all entry steps to qualify.
- You must record at least the 1st verse through the 1st hook. Or if you start your song with the hook, the hook through the end of the 1st verse (feel free to submit full songs as well).
- Include the hashtag #BlueRoadMusic in your post.
- All post types are allowed (pre-recorded/produced videos, live videos, still-image videos, etc.) as long as your song can be heard in the video.
- Multiple entries are allowed, and may increase your chances of winning.
- If you play an instrument, feel free to play overtop the instrumental, but this must be accompanied by a lead vocal.
- Winner Announcement: The winner will be announced via email to all participating registrants within days following the deadline.
Our Judging Criteria
From most important to least
- Originality
- Melody Choice (how captivating are they?)
- Arrangement (overall song flow)
- Lyrics (how conversational and/or clever are they?)
- Voice Tone Alignment (how well your voice tone sits with the melodies you write)
- Intonation (how 'in' or 'out' of tune you are)
